Inspiring Blooms is located near McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania. It is owned and operated by Jared & Trenda Troyer, a husband and wife team who share a passion for growing things, beauty, people and relationships. We offer fresh cut flowers wholesale to florists and designers and retail through Clugston's Market & Cafe in McConnellsburg. We also welcome inquiries for custom arrangements, prom flowers and DIY brides. 

From August until frost we open the farm to the local community to enjoy the beauty and magic of the field through you-pick. We also welcome inquiries for photo sessions. 

 

Our Story

Inspiring Blooms began in 2020 when Jared founded the flower farm in the heart of Holmes County, Ohio. What started as his passion for growing beautiful blooms would eventually become something much bigger than either of us could have imagined.

In 2022, Jared and Trenda met, fell in love, and were married that fall! With a new chapter of life beginning, we made the decision to close the Ohio location and settle near Trenda's hometown in south-central Pennsylvania.

At the time, we were busy running Clugston's Market & Café, and the plan was to keep growing flowers as a sizable hobby, selling a few blooms through the market. But as it turns out, God had other plans! What began as just a quarter acre of flowers quickly started growing into a business of its own.

In 2024, we began selling wholesale flowers to local florist shops and wedding designers. We quickly discovered how much we loved growing flowers for other creatives and building relationships with the people who bring our blooms to life in their designs.

By 2025, we had expanded our growing space by another acre, added another high tunnel, and made the leap into flower farming full-time. What we once thought would be a hobby had become our livelihood!

In 2026, we continued to grow, adding another acre of land and scaling up our production as best we could. Today, we grow on approximately two acres, along with our high tunnels, producing a wide variety of specialty cut flowers. Some of our largest crops include ranunculus, lisianthus, delphinium, and dahlias. And we're especially excited to add hydrangeas to our lineup in 2027!

Looking back, it's incredible to see how far this little flower farm has come. There have been plenty of challenges, long days, lessons learned, and unexpected blessings along the way. We certainly don't have it all figured out, but we're grateful for the opportunity to keep learning, growing, and doing work that we love.

More than anything, we believe this is God's story, and we're simply grateful that He has allowed us to be a part of it.

We don't know exactly what the coming years will hold, but we're excited to see where this journey takes us.
